Staats new MTX frame is built for mountain cross and duel slalom racing, trails and street riding.  It is built with double-butted 7005 aluminum then double heat treated for strength and durability. Special features include custom CNC dropouts with a replaceable dropout hanger; disc brake taps, Staats’ trademark seat tube cross brace and new velocitube chain stays. The geometry has been refined for increased acceleration and quicker turning.

Thorough testing and development by the Staats’ team riders have helped develop this new frame to find the perfect balance between durability and weight to ensure it will hold up without unnecessary weight (3Lb 15.9oz)
